Our Top Stuff of 2020

stuff2020

In a year unlike any other, these ten products helped us all make the most of it, or at least stay sane.

BillyNow

Billy Now Curved Reversable Masks

This one is pretty obvious. For the first time most of us experienced the feeling front line health workers have most of the time. And with Billy Now’s reversible masks, you had no excuse to look as drab as this year.

apple-iphone-12-color-blue

iPhone 12

Having spent a substantial amount of time on our phones this year, the Apple iPhone 12 at least helped us do it in style. Even if we were only taking pictures of our pets. And how pretty is that Pacific Blue?

bosequietcomfort

Bose QuietComfort 35 Wireless Headphones II

Ask any person sharing a space with others during lock down, some quiet time can make a massive difference. The Bose noise cancelling headphones are still the best in our opinion.

GraveBeforeShave

Grave Before Shave

Just because you couldn’t go outside for the majority of 2020, it doesn’t mean your Unabomber look had to have the other people on your Zoom call asking worried questions. We used the Grave Before Shave beard balm, oil, wash and conditioner to keep us looking semi-presentable.

AeroPress

AeroPress

When your local coffee shop shuts down, you know it’s time to invest in a good coffee maker. And whilst that La Marzacco linea mini is still on your wishlist, may we suggest the AeroPress. Easy to use, quick and it makes a damn fine cuppa. Also, it’s really good to take along on a trip. If you want to perhaps shake things up and make coffee in the living room and not in the kitchen.

yeti

Yeti

And you will be needing something to drink all the glorious coffee out of and being a lazy so and so, we prefer to make a massive cup and, with a Yeti, it will stay piping hot till your last sip.

Rogue Kettlebell

Rogue Kettlebell

With gyms out of the question, you have to stay fit somehow. Throwing around a Rogue kettlebell is one of the best/evil ways to flatten that curve. Just don’t drop the damn thing.

zoom

Zoom

Whether it was for work or play, there have been a lot of video calls this year. Thankfully Zoom made it easy to keep on the grind.

Disney+

Disney+

Netflix might have more original content (at the moment) but two things swung Disney+ in our favour; 1) The Mandalorian and 2) the entire Disney animated library. That might sound a bit boring (not The Mandalorian) but, spending long periods of time cooped up with a toddler, this will keep you sane. Also, who doesn’t love old school Disney?

How Far From Home

The options for travel has been lacking but the wanderlust has not. Enter the husband and wife team of Stevo Dirnberger and Chanel Cartell. There wonderfully quirky @howfarfromhome Instagram page has been our daily distraction/inspiration, not just from our surroundings but, in some way, they have made us appreciate it a lot more.
